Cutting Edge

About Cutting Edge

Fog settles into the low pastures north of Rome and doesn't lift off Shannon until the sun clears the ridge line. Cutting Edge starts the mowing while the grass still holds that cool, then works down the valley as the day opens up. Mowing, trimming, edging, and the blowdown that leaves a driveway looking swept — the small things a yard gets judged by from the road. By the time the heat comes on, the lines are laid down straight and the walks are clean to the concrete. There is a plain satisfaction in a Floyd County yard that looks cared for on an ordinary Tuesday, not just before company comes.
