Landscapes of Eden

About Landscapes of Eden

Under the loblollies around Senoia the ground lies copper with pine straw, and a bed dressed in it holds its shape right through the summer. Landscapes of Eden works the meeting places — grass to bed, bed to walk — mowing the open ground, trimming the tight spots, cutting a clean spade line where the mulch begins. There is a real difference between a yard that has been cut and a yard that has been composed, and that difference lives in the borders. Come autumn the same eye goes to needle and leaf cleanup, so nothing smothers what is underneath. Slow, deliberate, and satisfying to stand back and look at.
