About Rock Mills Lawn Care

October fog lies on the Ogeechee bottoms below Rocky Ford until the sun climbs high enough to burn it off, and mornings turn cool enough to work straight through. Screven County is sand and longleaf and old field edges, and its lawns take the turn of the year one week at a time. The route runs to mowing while the grass still wants it, trimming the fence corners, cutting the edge where the drive meets the yard, and then the long autumn business of pulling leaves and pine straw off the turf. A cut lawn under low fall light shows every line, which is reason enough to keep them straight. When the mower stops, the river country goes quiet again.
