About Lawn Chompers

Give a Rincon yard one wet week in July and it will get away from you. Lawn Chompers goes after the ones that have — knocking the overgrowth down first, then mowing, edging, running the string trimmer along the fence lines and clearing every last bit off the walks. The before-and-after is the fun of it: a lot that was shin-deep at nine in the morning sitting flat and level by noon, cut-grass smell hanging in the heavy air. After that first reset, weekly cuts keep it from getting ahead again through the long Georgia growing season. The trucks run out to Springfield, Guyton, Bloomingdale and Pooler.
