East of Richmond Hill the marsh runs to the horizon, spartina and needlerush breathing with the tide up the Belfast River, and by October the whole expanse goes gold. Low Country Lawn and Landscape keeps the ground people actually walk on — mowing, edging, string trimming, clearing debris and cuttings away. Out here the outdoors is the main room of the house, so a lawn carries more weight than it might elsewhere. The routine runs hardest from May to September and never entirely stops. Cut, edge, blow, move on; the town looks better for it.
