About Squared Edge Lawn Care LLC

Pooler mornings start early, before the heat lifts off the coastal plain and the air goes heavy and still. That is when the first pass goes down a Godley Station lawn, and the line it leaves is the whole point — straight, deliberate, squared to the walk. Squared Edge Lawn Care LLC is a lawn care business here, and the work is mowing, edging, string trimming, and blowing every clipping off the concrete before the truck rolls on. Out past the last cul-de-sac the flatwoods pines and Pipemakers Canal keep their own shaggy order; a yard is simply a place where somebody decided the line should be sharp. Come July, when Bermuda grass pushes back what feels like a half inch a day, that line has to be redrawn every week, and it is. By evening the low sun runs right along the edge and shows exactly where the blade went.
