Freddy’s Lawn and Landscape

About Freddy’s Lawn and Landscape

Out of Plains the land opens into peanut rows and red clay, and on a June morning the dust hangs over the field roads long after a truck has gone by. Freddy's Lawn and Landscape moves through town in that early stretch, cutting while the air is still bearable and the grass still stands up to the blade. The yards along Main Street and the streets behind the depot take a careful, straight line: front strips, walks, mailbox posts, the shady corners under the pecans. Mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup, done in the same order every visit so nothing slips past. By afternoon the heat owns Sumter County, and the lawns left behind hold their shape right through it.
