Just A Cut N Trim

About Just A Cut N Trim

For about two weeks every April, Palmetto turns yellow — pine pollen on the trucks, on the mailboxes, drifting in the gutters like cornmeal. Just A Cut N Trim runs straight through it, because that is also when the grass wakes all at once and the hedges throw out soft new growth. The name says the job: a clean cut across the lawn, a tight trim along the fence line and the mailbox post, hedges squared back to shape. Working early keeps the crew ahead of the heat and the dust, and by mid-morning the lawns on the route have that scrubbed, combed look you can see from the road. Once the first hard rain washes the pollen away, everything on the street comes out green — and the yards that have been kept up come out sharpest.
