About Mejia Lawn Care LLC

August in Omega is heavy and green: peanut fields running to the fence, irrigation pivots turning their slow circles, heat coming up off the pavement by ten in the morning. Mejia Lawn Care LLC is out early through all of it, mowing yards, running a clean edge down the driveway, taking the trimmer around the mailbox and the pines before clearing the concrete. In this sandy loam a lawn drinks hard and grows hard, and a week between cuts disappears in no time. The satisfaction is simple and physical — the even note of the mower, the smell that follows it, the yard neat at the end. Then on to the next one, before the day turns serious.
