About Oakmont Lawn and Landscape

Oak Grove earns its name every summer, when the big canopies close over the streets and the whole place cools by a few degrees under them. Oakmont Lawn and Landscape works that dappled ground, cutting lawns that get sun in patches and shade in swaths and never quite grow at the same rate twice. The craft is in reading it — where to raise the deck, where to slow down, how to leave a mowing line that looks intentional under a broken canopy. Come autumn the acorns drop like hail and the work turns to clearing, so the turf goes into winter with room to breathe. It is steady neighborhood lawn care, done on foot, one yard at a time.
