About South Georgia Land Service

Out past the last streetlight the land opens into fields and pine rows, and the Ochlockonee slips along quiet beneath its low green canopy. South Georgia Land Service takes on lawn care for Moultrie and the places strung out along those clay county roads — mowing, overgrowth cutback, trimming, and seasonal yard cleanup. Big yards out here need somebody who is not intimidated by acreage, who will take the fence lines and ditch banks along with the front lawn. When the mower finally shuts off, the quiet that comes in behind it is worth standing still for. A place kept up reads from the road, and that is exactly the point.
