About Moreno Landscape LLC

October reaches the ridges of the Chattahoochee National Forest above Morganton all at once — poplar first, then the maples, then the whole horizon. Moreno Landscape LLC keeps mowing while the grass still wants it, since lawns at this elevation do their best growing once the summer heat finally lets go. Trimming tightens the border around stone steps, mailboxes and the odd stump the mountain left behind. A cut edge along the driveway gives a yard a shape you can see from the road, and the cuttings are blown off before anything is called finished. Cool air, low sun, a lawn squared up beneath all that color: that is a good day's work.
