Moe Lawns

About Moe Lawns

Molena is short — a few blocks, the old rail line, and then hayfields opening up the moment the last building ends. In summer the light hangs on until nearly nine, and that final hour, heat backing off and the mower running steady, is the best working hour the day has. Moe Lawns takes the straightforward version of the job seriously: mowing, edging along walks and drives, string trimming, blowing the clippings off the concrete, and cleanups when a yard needs catching up. A lawn cut even with its edges cut sharp requires no explanation from anybody. Around Molena and the towns beside it, that is what pulls into the driveway.
