About Pro Turf Company

Milledgeville's old grid was laid out generously — wide streets, deep setbacks, columned porches sitting well back behind magnolias — and lawns like that reward anyone willing to cut them properly. Pro Turf Company works those blocks and the newer subdivisions alike, mowing at a height the July sun won't scorch, edging the long sidewalk runs, and shaping hedges back to a line you can sight down. Midsummer here is honest work: heat off the pavement by ten, cicadas going, shade under the water oaks the only mercy on offer. What keeps it worth doing is the moment the mower shuts off and the yard reads as one clean sweep of green from curb to foundation. Come fall the pace eases, the cleanups begin, and the same yards get put to bed tidy.
