About Wimbush Lawn Care

By noon in July the Meansville air goes still and the cicadas take over the pines along the Zebulon road. Wimbush Lawn Care is out in it anyway — deck down, line trimmer over the shoulder, working the shaded side of the yard before the sun comes all the way around. Out here in peach-and-pine country the lots run long, and a good pass means walking the ditch banks and the fence corners the mower can't reach. Then the edger, then the blower, and the walk is left bare. A yard finished at the hottest hour of a Pike County afternoon has a particular kind of pride in it.
