The North Oconee gathers itself out of Jackson County pastures not far from here, small enough near Maysville to step across, and every spring rain that leaves these lawns eventually joins it. Living Waters Irrigation mows with that in mind: cutting high enough that the turf holds its ground, keeping the edges crisp, sending clippings back onto the grass rather than into the ditch. Weekly mowing, trimming and cleanups carry a yard from the first flush of April growth through the slow burn of August. After a wet week the grass comes on fast, and getting to it on time is most of the craft. A lawn cut right sheds a storm and looks composed the next morning.
