About Augusta Lawn Care of Marietta and Christmas Lights

December dusk falls on Marietta at five o'clock, and the whole town answers with light — rooflines, porch rails, the little maples out front wrapped bulb by bulb. Augusta Lawn Care of Marietta and Christmas Lights spends that season up the ladder, hanging strands on eaves and gables, then comes back in January to take them down and box them without a tangle. The rest of the calendar belongs to the grass: mowing through the long green stretch from March to October, edging, trimming, mulch in the beds, and the leaf haul that clears the way for the lights. It is one crew following the year around, from the first cut after the last frost to the last strand pulled off a gutter. Two very different kinds of tidy, both of them visible from the street.
