About Goolsby's Lawn Care LLC

West of the Ocmulgee the ground tilts slowly down toward Lake Tobesofkee, and on summer mornings the light comes off that water before it ever reaches the yards up on the ridge. Goolsby's Lawn Care LLC keeps to those early hours, mowing while the Bermuda still carries dew and the air has not yet turned heavy. Edges get cut true along the drive, the string trimmer goes around every post and mailbox, and then the walks are blown clean so nothing is left behind but the smell of cut grass. By the time west Macon's heat settles in for the afternoon, the lawn is already standing up straight in even rows. It is plain, steady work, and a yard that looks that way on a Tuesday is its own kind of welcome home.
