About Toombs outdoor

The first cool front of fall comes up the Altamaha bottoms south of Lyons, and you can feel the whole county exhale. Toombs outdoor works the turn of that season — mowing while the growth slows down, running the edger along drives and curbs, trimming the corners a mower cannot reach, and clearing leaves and cuttings off the grass. Winters are short and gentle in this part of Georgia, so the tending never really stops; it just goes quiet, a lighter hand on an already even lawn. The pride lives in the small stuff: a clean curb line, a swept driveway, a yard you notice only because nothing about it is out of place. Lyons and the towns around it, from Vidalia over to Mount Vernon and on down toward Reidsville.
