The Montfort Group

About The Montfort Group

The rail line still splits Lyons the long way, and on a July noon the whole town runs on shade — pines, pecans, a porch, the far side of a parked truck. The Montfort Group takes the lawn care side of that heat, mowing, edging and trimming to keep properties around Toombs County looking cared for through the deepest stretch of the season. Southeast Georgia summers are humid and unhurried, and the grass grows accordingly, so the height gets set with the next two weeks in mind. Precision is the point: corners cut square, no ragged strip left along a fence, nothing thrown up onto the porch boards. From the blocks near the courthouse out to the county roads toward Reidsville and Cedar Crossing, the finished yard is the whole argument.
