Late June on Lookout Mountain, the afternoon stacks a thunderhead over the ridge, drops an inch of rain in twenty minutes, and by evening everything is greener than it had any right to be. That is the stretch when EcoLawn is busiest at the throttle — mowing, string trimming, edging and blowing down the drives on lawns tucked under oak and mountain laurel near Fairyland. Up here a yard is half clearing and half woods, and the machine has to respect the difference. There is real pleasure in the last pass: stripes laid even, clippings off the walk, the ferns at the border left exactly alone. EcoLawn works Lookout Mountain and out toward Chickamauga, Flintstone and Rising Fawn.
