East of LaGrange the lots stretch out, houses set back behind long front fields where a mower has room to open up and the work turns from trimming to acreage. Guzman Land management takes on that kind of ground: lawn mowing and edging close to the house, then lot mowing and brush cutting out where the grass runs to the fence line. Trimming around posts, mailboxes and equipment is the slow part, and it is what separates a mowed field from a kept property. West Georgia growth does not pause between April and October, so the big open work comes around again almost as soon as it is finished. Seeing a wide lot cut down even, with the fence line clean and the edges honest, is worth the hours it takes. LaGrange, Mountville and the roads between them are the regular circuit.
