LaFayette sits on the valley floor with Lookout Mountain on one side and Pigeon Mountain shouldering up on the other, and the mornings stay cool well into spring. Lawns & Mower cuts through that valley — mowing on rotation, cutting in the edges, running the trimmer against walls, posts and stone. Northwest Georgia gets its rain and the grass takes it and runs, so from April on the yards stay hungry for a blade. In late October the cove hardwoods turn and the leaf work begins, clearing lawns and beds ahead of the first hard cold. Straight lines across a valley lawn, with the ridges standing over them, make for a good day's work.
