Tony's Lawn Service

About Tony's Lawn Service

October dusk in Jonesboro comes on gold and early, and the pecans and water oaks let go all at once, filling the grass along Lee Street and the lots around Freedom Park faster than anybody can keep up with. Tony's Lawn Service works that season the way it works all the others — steadily, until the lawn underneath is visible again. Leaves cleared, grass cut low into the cool months, edges held tight, trimming done around fences and mailbox posts where the mower will not go. The route runs through Jonesboro and out to Lovejoy, Hampton, Riverdale and Morrow, on the same lawns week after week. The reward is simple and it is enough: a yard raked open to the evening light, ready for whatever the weather does next.
