Perry's Tree Services

About Perry's Tree Services

Summer dusk on the Altamaha near Jesup is all cypress silhouette and heat still lifting off the road. Perry's Tree Services works Wayne County's river ground and pine country, where trees grow fast and now and then outgrow their own footing. They remove the ones that have gone hollow or started to lean, trim limbs crowding a roofline, and prune with a plan for how a crown will fill back in. When a squall drops half a tree across the yard, cleanup means the pieces cut small enough to move, the brush gone, the grass combed out flat. It is honest work, and the hush of a place after the saws shut off is part of the pay.
