The older streets of Jefferson keep their shade — water oaks leaning over the pavement, dogwoods lighting up white along the fence lines in April. Angel lawn care tends the grass beneath that canopy, mowing, trimming and edging lawns that get more dapple than sun and grow in patches because of it. Shady turf wants a taller cut and a lighter touch, and knowing that is half the job in a town this leafy. The other half is the finish: a clean line along the walk, a tidy ring around each trunk, the porch and driveway blown off before anybody comes home. Old streets deserve to look their age in the best possible way.
