About Outdoor Solutions

Spring shows up at the ballfields before it shows up anywhere else in Jasper — outfield grass greening while the ridges above town are still bare and gray. Outdoor Solutions takes that as the starting gun: the first cuts of the year, the first edges reopened after winter, the first haul of clippings off yards that have been sleeping since November. Pickens County ground is red and rocky and drains fast, which means the grass comes on strong and uneven until somebody puts it on a schedule. Once it is on a schedule, a lawn holds its shape all the way to fall. That steady rhythm — cut, edge, trim, blow, come back — is the whole trade.
