Skippys Lawn Care

About Skippys Lawn Care

There's an evening hour in the Union County valley when the light goes long across the hayfields and the ridges turn that deep smoke blue people drive a long way to see. Skippys Lawn Care finishes plenty of days in it — the last drive blown off, the trimmer hung up, a yard standing cut and even. The week's work is mowing, edging, string trimming and clearing whatever falls, on properties tucked between the mountains around Ivylog. Rain comes fast off the high ground and the grass answers within days, so staying ahead of it is most of the job. In autumn the leaves take over, and in early spring the cleanup starts the cycle again. Simple work, and it shows.
