About Gills Outdoor Services

Out past Homer the country opens into pasture and hayfield, with the hills rolling northeast toward the mountains. Gills Outdoor Services keeps yards in that direction on a mowing schedule, cutting wide lawns, trimming around barn corners, posts and fence lines, then blowing the drives clean. A Georgia summer stretches the evenings long, so a big yard can be finished with light to spare. In autumn the leaves come down the hollows and cleanup work carries the season out. The lines a mower leaves across an open lawn are worth stopping to look at.
