Evans' Turf

About Evans' Turf

Hawkinsville keeps a harness horse training track out on its edge, which makes this a town with opinions about ground — how it lies, how it holds, how it ought to look. Evans' Turf carries that same interest into ordinary yards across Pulaski County: mowing at a steady cut height, string trimming around posts and beds, edging the drive, then clearing every walk. Middle Georgia summers grow turf faster than anyone expects, and a lawn left alone for two weeks in July is a different animal than it was in June. Fall slows the growth down and turns the work toward leaves, hedges and a tidy close to the year. The aim is plain enough — turf that looks intentional, week after week.
