About Beggs Landscaping

Late in the afternoon the light comes sideways off the water at Savannah Rapids, gilding the towpath and the grass that runs beside it. A few minutes up the road from there, Beggs Landscaping is finishing yards for the day: mowing on a set rhythm, trimming close along fence pickets and mailbox posts, cutting the edge where turf meets concrete, then blowing the walks and drive back to bare. Grass in this part of Georgia can put on a week of growth in three days after a good rain, which makes showing up on schedule the whole job. Some weeks that means working in pollen, some weeks in ninety-degree damp, some weeks in the soft gold of October. Evans, Martinez, and Appling yards come out the same either way, level and clean-lined and quiet.
