East of Grayson the subdivisions thin and old pasture fence lines still run beneath the pines — the part of Gwinnett County that has not entirely stopped being country. Countryside Lawn Maintenance works both sides of that line: the half-acre in town and the wide lot where red clay shows through after a spring rain. Mowing, trimming, edging, and hauling off what comes up, including overgrown ground brought back down to something a person can walk across. In March the fescue wakes first and the whole county turns green in about ten days, which is when the season truly opens. Yards are tended through Grayson, Between, Bethlehem, and Loganville.
