About Sunshine Landscapers

July in northern Twiggs County is loud with insects and slow with heat, and the crape myrtles do most of the color work while everyone else hunts for shade. Sunshine Landscapers is out in it anyway, mowing early and staying at it — trimming tight to the trunks and the fence, cutting the edge along the front walk, clearing the cuttings off the steps. High summer is when a lawn needs the steadiest hand, because grass in this heat can get away from a place in a single week. There is a plain and good feeling in leaving a yard cut even and cool-looking under a hard sun. By evening it holds the low light the way a lawn ought to.
