Heath's Lawn Co

About Heath's Lawn Co

In Wilkinson County the earth runs white as well as red — kaolin under the pines, trucks headed for the plants, the fall-line country rolling east toward the Oconee. Heath's Lawn Co mows Gordon's yards through a growing season that opens early and closes late, edging walks, trimming where the mower cannot reach, and clearing every drive before leaving. Central Georgia heat makes itself known by mid-morning, so the route starts at first light and keeps moving. When the pecans and oaks come down, the leaves go off the grass rather than being left to smother it. Nothing about it is complicated, and a street of well-cut lawns makes the case.
