About Hollis Lawn Service LLC

January mornings up Thompson Bridge Road come in hard and clear, frost silvering the dormant bermuda and the Chestatee arm of the lake lying steel-gray below. Hollis Lawn Service LLC works the cold months on cleanup — leaves and limbs pulled out of beds and fence corners, shrubs shaped while they sleep, mulch and pine straw refreshed — and then turns to mowing, edging and trimming as soon as the ground warms in March. North Hall lawns green up a little later than the ones down by Oakwood, and there is no rushing them. Through summer the route is weekly: cut, edge, trim, blow, move on. Come autumn the hardwoods along the river hand back everything they took, and the whole cycle begins again.
