Brown's Lawn Care

About Brown's Lawn Care

The first real mow of the year in Fayette County usually lands in March, when the fescue has jumped, the bermuda is still waking up, and the red clay along the shoulder is finally firm enough to roll a trailer over. Brown's Lawn Care starts the routes then and doesn't let go until the last leaves are down. Mowing, trimming, edging and cleanup on a set rotation is the whole of it — plain work, done the same way every visit. There's a particular pleasure in that opening cut of spring, the smell of it, a yard suddenly having corners again. By the second time around the lines are back and the season has properly begun.
