About Steward & Son Property Maintenance Co.

Morning in Gilmer County starts low and white, with river fog lying along the Cartecay until the sun clears the ridge and lifts it off the water. That is the hour Steward & Son Property Maintenance Co. is already moving — trailer down, dew still beading on the blades, the first pass cut before the day turns warm. They mow, trim, edge and clear the clippings so a mountain yard reads clean all the way from the road to the porch steps. When the first hard cold night drops half the canopy at once, they come back for the leaves. It is lawn care and grounds upkeep for homes and properties around Ellijay, kept on a steady rhythm. The pleasure of it is small and real: a crisp edge along a gravel drive, and grass that looks looked-after.
