Martin Landscape

About Martin Landscape

Evening comes early in the river bottom, and fog lies along the Toccoa before the ridgelines have even lost the sun. Martin Landscape finishes its days in that light — the last lawn mowed, edges run, clippings blown off the walk, the truck packed by dark. Riverside yards around Blue Ridge grow thick and damp and want a regular hand rather than an occasional rescue. There is something settling about a trimmed lawn going gray-green at dusk with the water sounding behind it. The work reaches through Blue Ridge and the small places along the river.
