About Allison Landscape And Design

Southwest Georgia lies flat and wide around Edison — peanut and cotton fields running out to a low tree line, pecan groves standing in their rows, and a sky that takes up most of the view. Allison Landscape And Design works in that open country, laying out yards that hold their own against so much horizon: beds shaped and planted, mulch and pine straw laid down, shrubs kept trimmed, lawns mowed and edged clean. The Coastal Plain's sandy ground and its long, hot growing season decide a great deal about what belongs where, and a design worth having starts from that. Cleanups follow the calendar — leaves, limbs, whatever a Calhoun County storm leaves lying in the grass. Out here a well-kept yard reads from the road a long way off.
