Out past the last streetlight the roads around Eatonton go to red clay and the Oconee National Forest closes in from both sides, pine behind pine, until a yard opens up in the middle of all of it. Jameson's landscaping LLC does the work that makes those openings feel finished — grass mowed and edged, beds cut in and mulched, plantings set where they will thrive, brush and clippings hauled away. Summer here is long and generous to anything green, which is a blessing and a full-time job at the same time. Trimming and blowing come last, the small ten minutes that decide whether a yard looks tended or only cut. Low evening light through the pines is fair payment for a day of it.
