About Grimes Landscape Company

North of Eatonton the land rolls up toward Rock Eagle, where stones laid out long ago still hold their shape in the ground — a fair reminder that in this county what you do to the land tends to stay visible. Grimes Landscape Company works the yards and grounds around town: plantings and bed work, mulch and pine straw, shrubs kept in shape, lawns mowed and edged. October is Putnam County's kindest month, cool at daybreak and gold all afternoon, and it is when a landscape shows exactly what was done for it back in the spring. Leaves get cleared, borders get redrawn, and the place is set up for the warm season to come. It is steady outdoor work, done where everyone can see it.
