About Rooted Gardens Georgia

Decatur's spring arrives in order — redbud first, then dogwood, then everything at once, and the fields at Legacy Park go from brown to green in about a week. Rooted Gardens Georgia plants into that season: beds turned and amended out of the red clay, perennials and shrubs set where the light actually falls, mulch laid to hold the moisture that summer will come looking for. The rest of the year is upkeep with a gardener's eye — pruning, deadheading, weeding beds by hand, mowing and edging the lawn that frames them. A garden is never finished, which is precisely the pleasure of it. Each year the beds come back fuller than the last.
