Lawn In Order

About Lawn In Order

Sunday evening light over Midtown does something generous to a tidy lawn — Piedmont Park emptying out, the towers going gold, and every clean bed line suddenly reading like it was drawn on purpose. Lawn In Order is named for exactly that condition and works to keep yards in it: mowing on a set schedule, edges re-cut so grass never creeps across the concrete, shrubs held to shape, and beds kept clear of what blows in off the street. Nothing dramatic happens on any single visit; the order is cumulative. A yard maintained this way never has to be rescued, only kept. And a kept yard, at the end of a Sunday, is a quietly satisfying thing to sit and look at.
