About Ward creek land management

West of town the ground opens toward the Chestatee and the yards get bigger — a long front field running down to a fence line, a windbreak of pines, a drive you can watch a truck come up for a full minute. Ward creek land management works that kind of place: acreage mowed in wide passes, edges trimmed where a deck can't follow, the ground around posts and outbuildings cut clean instead of left to go rank. Out here the difference between kept and unkept shows from a quarter mile off. Wind crosses an open Lumpkin County field the way it never does in a subdivision, and a freshly cut one holds every line of it. Finishing a stretch like that and turning to look back down the whole length of it is the best part of the day.
