Summers lawn care & maintenance

About Summers lawn care & maintenance

August in Covington starts loud — cicadas up in the pines by seven, the air already thick — and by four the thunderheads stack west over Newton County and let go. Summers lawn care & maintenance works between those two facts, cutting early, trimming the fence rows, reading the sky the way everybody here eventually learns to. Mowing, edging, string trimming, blowing the walks and drives clean, carrying off the clippings, with maintenance visits through the season so nothing gets ahead of itself. Grass grows fastest in precisely the weather that makes people least want to go near it, which is the whole reason for the truck and the trailer. Come evening the yards steam a little, the light goes gold down the street, and every line the mower left is still exactly where it was put.
