The Lawn Rangerz

About The Lawn Rangerz

Coolidge sits in the pine country of Thomas County, where the afternoon light comes through the longleaf in long gold bars and the red clay holds the day's heat well past supper. The Lawn Rangerz work those yards on plain terms: mowing, edging, string trimming, and a clean blow-down of every walk and drive before the truck pulls away. Centipede and Bermuda ask for patience down here — a steady height, a straight line — and the payoff is a lawn that reads level all the way from the mailbox. The routes run past pasture fence and pecan shade between Coolidge, Pavo, Ochlocknee and Meigs, and every stop ends the same way, with nothing left behind but the smell of cut grass. It is ordinary work, done over and over, and it is what makes a whole street look cared for.
