Southern Landcare

About Southern Landcare

A northeast Georgia thunderstorm comes over the pine ridges outside Commerce in about ten minutes flat, drums the red clay hard, and leaves the whole county steaming by six o'clock. Southern Landcare works the hours on either side of weather like that, mowing the long open yards and pasture edges where lawn gives way to fence line. Mowing, trimming, edging, clearing the clippings off the drive so the clay stays where it belongs and the concrete stays clean. Ground out this way is generous — grass will run away from you in a wet week — and holding it to a straight, even cut is the whole job. When the light comes back low and yellow after the rain, a finished lawn out here looks like something you could rest your eyes on.
