About Lacey Gragg Gardening

Gardens in Clarkesville run on mountain time — the last frost holds on later up here than it does down the ridge, and everything waits for it. Lacey Gragg Gardening works to that calendar, keeping lawns mowed and edged through the season while tending the beds around them: trimming shrubs back into shape, clearing spent growth, laying mulch where the soil wants covering. Mornings in these foothills stay cool well past sunrise, which is a kindness when there is hand work to do. By October it all turns toward leaves and putting a yard to bed for the cold. What comes of it is a place with clean grass lines and beds that look intentional right up to the porch steps.
