About M R Green's Lawn-Care & More

South of town the land folds into McLemore Cove, with Pigeon Mountain on one hand and the long ridge on the other, and in March the whole cove turns from brown to a hesitant green almost overnight. M R Green's Lawn-Care & More works that season and the ones after it around Chickamauga — mowing, edging, trimming, and cleaning up the winter's leftovers so new growth has light and air. Early spring cuts set the shape of a lawn for the rest of the year, and shape is worth doing right. Borders get their line back, the clippings get carried off, and the yard looks awake again. Watching a place turn the corner into the season never gets old.
