About Grass Beard Lawn Care, LLC

Mid-July in Chattanooga Valley: cicadas at full volume, air thick as a wet towel, and Bermuda grass growing fast enough that you could nearly watch it happen. Grass Beard Lawn Care, LLC keeps pace with it — weekly mowing, string trimming, edging and a clean sweep so nothing is left lying on the walk. Deck height goes up for the heat, the blades stay sharp so the cut tips don't brown, and the direction of the passes changes week to week so the grass never lies down. There is a moment at the end of every yard, engine off, when the smell of it all arrives at once; that is the part worth working for. Shrub trimming and bed cleanups fill the days too wet to mow.
